ICT as Medium for Advocacy

 1. How Information and Communications and Technology (ICT) has transformed the educational methodologies when you were in grade school and now in Senior High School. 

           Because of ICT, the educational methodologies when I was in grade school has been improved now that I am in Senior High School. Instead of just showing a visual aid using a manila paper or any kind of paper, it has been improved and now, teachers use laptop and a projector to present the lesson to their students. In short, with the help of ICT, it makes the educational methodologies to became more technology based.

2. Consider the following for comparison. 

a. The singing of the national anthem (Form a line, sing the national anthem with conductor) 

             The singing of the national anthem before needs a teacher to sing as a guide for the students to follow the singing of the National Anthem but now, teachers just bring a speaker and let it play the National Anthem to be followed by the students.

b. Concepts notes 

             At the past, you need to write the lesson in order to keep notes, but now, notes can be passed through mobile phones or just getting pictures with the use of camera.

c. Presentation of visual aids

              At the past, the presentation of visual aids can be only presented with the use of manila paper and other kind of papers but now you just need to bring a laptop and white screen to present the visual aids.

d. Class record 

               Class record at the past can be only write into a sheet of paper or a record sheet but now,some teachers use laptop to keep the record of the class.

e. class dismissal 

              At the past, there is a piece of iron that serves as a bell or teacher needs to tell the class that the class was already dismissed but now there is an electric bell that you just need to press in able to produce a sound.

f. assignment and research

             At the past,you need to go to the library and find books in order to answer your assignment or to conduct research,but now, you just need to use a cellphone or laptop and with the use of internet,you can easily access to different informations that necessary for your research.
